About Christopher - The #1 Technician
I started working on
computers when my grandpa got me into them when I was
around 10. I've always had a fascination with what
computers can do and how far they've come. I started
using a computer which was programmed with MS DOS.
That's before Windows even existed! Then we got a hand
me down computer with Windows 95 on it! That was the
best! From that time on I was hooked. My first
computer was a Gateway, which I purchased with my own
allowance.
Friends and family started asking me to fix their
computer or help with the problems. Once I graduated
high school, my grandpa persuaded me to take a computer
class and get into computers more. I then received two
degrees at Moraine Park Technical College. I have had
many jobs, only a few dealing with computers. I worked
at Charter Communications in their internet support
department for about 6 months until they outsourced our
department. When I left Charter I decided to start my
own business full time, which was the start of CCG
Computers.
CCG Computers picked up many new customers, residential
and business alike. Our largest customer was a radio
station in town. That was also the beginning of our
radio call-in show. CCG Computers served over 2,200
customers in five years. We had three employees,
designed websites, fixed computers, and much more.
Unfortunately, due to a failing economy, CCG Computers was closed January 2009.
After a bit of job searching, I came across Masters' Computer
Services which allows me to do what I like again and
have a little fun along the way!
